The Wax Wood Stick is made to mimic naturally found "fat wood", but without the sticky mess or difficulty packing. Wax Wood Stick also ignites easier than natural fat wood and burn hot.
 
Each Wax Wood Stick is handmade to achieve superb performance in all weather conditions. Fat wood is not always easy to find, especially if you don't know what to look for. Once you do find it, you have to process it into pieces that are useable size...which is a messy, sticky undertaking to say the least. Once you've done that, storing it for travel is a challenge as well since it doesn't come in a standard size or shape.
 
Wax Wood Stick is not only easier to light than natural fat wood....it's conveniently sized for your pack or fire kit. It's soft enough to be easily processed, but has no sticky residue to contend with. It's dry, easy to pack and super easy to use. Probelm: solved!
